The Arts and Design Department of Baybay City Senior High School, again, made a triumphant noise after their student visual artist garnered the Second Prize during the Regional Poster Making Competition with the theme: "Sustainable Consumerism in the Digital Age" at the Robinsons Mall, Tabuan National Highway, Marasbaras, Tacloban City, Leyte on October 13, 2022 - Thursday.
Dhaniel L. Gonzaga, Arts and Design 11 Dibuhu, was declared Second Placer in the said competition. Mr. Gonzaga was coached by Fine Arts Teacher Dazzilyn Palermo-Montes of BCSHS A&D Department.
The two-hour competition was battled by student visual artists from four divisions, namely; Tacloban, Leyte, Ormoc, and Baybay, wherein each division had a contestant from the elementary, junior high, and senior high schools’ levels.
Representatives from the Bureau of Internal Revenue, Save the Children, and Department of Trade and Industry Philippines judged the contest entries.
