BCSHS SSG PREXY WINS TOP FEDERATION SEAT



CITY OF BAYBAY, LEYTE: Ms. Hazel Mortil, the President of the Supreme Student Government (SSG) of Baybay City Senior High School (BCSHS) makes another round of triumph as she took the spot as President of the Division SSG Federation for the School Year 2022-2023. The selection was held at President Carlos P. Garcia Elementary School on September 23, 2022 – Friday.


Ms. Hazel Mortil, a Grade 12 STEM Student emphasized: “I want to provide opportunities to let students speak in an environment where they will not be judged or criticized for… every voice is [highly valuable] significant” she said.


Under her administration she also reiterated to work on the following projects: Strengthen the Child Protection Policy (CPP); Embrace diversity across all strands; Strengthen smoke-free environment and anti-drug abuse; Participate in the National Greening Program and other environmental-related activities in collaboration with YES-O; Maintain the comfort room of BCSHS for the welfare of the students; and, Hope for the resurgence of Senior Prom and other events, to name a few.


The BCSHS-SSG Adviser, Mr. Eric Fernandez, consistently showed his support and guidance to all SSG Officials to smoothly implement their platforms and plans for their administration. Mr. Roger O. Lingatong, BCSHS School Principal also extended his gratitude to the new elected Division SSG Federation President, Ms. Mortil, for making it to the top.





Meanwhile, Ms. Mortil is now preparing for another election in the regional level. Ms. Juliana Maaghop, the former BCSHS-SSG President, also made it to the National Level last school year 2021-2022, also showed her full support to the newly elected president on her new journey.
